Mutt Lange's father was a South African mining engineer. Mutt was sent to study at Belfast High School in South Africa, where he started a band. He eventually married singer Stevie van Kerken (aka Stevie Vann) and moved to England.
His first major hit as a producer was AC/DC's Highway to Hell album. He also worked with Def Leppard on their albums Pyromania and Hysteria.
Lange produced Bryan Adams' Waking Up the Neighbours album, including the #1 single "Everything I Do, I Do It For You".
Mutt is now married to Canadian country singer Shania Twain. |
