Vacation' was created with a host of co-writers, heavyweight hitmakers
like Jim Vallance, Desmond Child and Holly Knight. Was this extra input
the salvation of Aerosmith's career?" "Kind of," Tyler shrugs. "It helped us bring our album in under budget. We coulda spent another two months on it but I doubt if we'd have come up with anything better. By writing with other people we just added another spice to the pot. Some people might say it's not the same Aerosmith, but I didn't put anything on that album that I wasn't proud of. 'Magic Touch' got a little stupid, commercial, so we pulled back." |
