Whenever Bryan Adams and I were writing songs for one of Bryan's albums,
we'd meet for 10 or 12 hours each day, seven days a week. When a song was
finished we'd determine if it was good enough to be on the "A"
list ... in other words, was it a contender for the album currently
in progress? If not, the song would be put on the shelf for future consideration,
or simply rejected altogether.
"Play To Win" was one of those "rejected altogether"
songs. I have no idea how it found its way to the producers of this
film, and onto the soundtrack album. |
