Bryan and I wrote "California Christmas" in 1988. Clearly, we were channeling Phil Spector and the Beach Boys, similar to what the Beatles had done with their 1968 song, "Back In The USSR".

We spent a day or two recording a demo, complete with all the instrument and vocal parts, just the two of us in my little basement studio.

Then ... nothing. We forgot about "California Christmas" for nearly 40 years!

I'm so glad Bryan circled back and decided to pull this track from oblivion.
