Bryan with my cat "Blue", in my house in Vancouver. Bryan is a dog lover, but he very graciously tolerated my three cats (in fact I think he quite liked them). |

Tina Turner / Vancouver 1984
Bryan Adams took this photo of Tina and I at Little Mountain Sound
during the vocal session for "It's Only Love". I met Tina
a few more times after that, and I found her to be consistently pleasant
and energetic. A great lady! |

Ozzy's 50th Birthday Party / Los Angeles 1998
Myself, Barbara Vander Linde, and songwriter Mark Hudson at Ozzy Osbourne's 50th birthday party (Beverly Hills Hotel, December 4, 1998). Sharon put on the most incredible bash for Ozzy. In fact the maitre-d', who'd been there 40 years, told me it was the most extravagant, opulent, over-the-top event he'd even seen in all his years at the hotel! Sharon and Ozzy are the sweetest people on earth, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent writing with the "Prince of Darkness". |

Alice and "Jimmy-J" / Vancouver 1999
Alice Cooper backstage with
my son, after a performance at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver. Alice
is known as "the gentleman of the rock world", and rightly
so . A lovely guy. |

Ian Lloyd and "The Cars" / New York 1979
The Cars had just completed their 2nd album the day before, and they
played it for us in its entirety. Rick and Ben had come to New York
to play on Ian's album. I was on drums, and it was a real treat to be
an "honorary Car" for a day. |

Herman Rarebell and daughter / France 1990
I took this photo of "Scorpions" drummer Herman Rarebell and his daughter on the verandah of Herman's home in the south of France in 1990. It was a beautiful sunny day, and Herman kept tweaking his daughter's nose and making her laugh. From the verandah you could see the French city of Nice to the west and the Italian town of Portofino to the east. When the dinner hour approached Herman asked "What do you feel like eating, Italian or French? If it's Italian, we'll drive to Italy. If it's French we'll drive to Nice". Life is good in Herman's neighbourhood - or, as Bryan Adams used to say, "It's lonely at the top, but you eat better". |
