Comments:
I wrote "You're Like The Wind" about my girlfriend at the time ... a puzzling, on-again-off-again relationship (hey, it's a puzzling on-again-off-again song).

Prism recorded the song for their second album, "See Forever Eyes" (1978). I'd quit the band the year before, and I still wasn't getting along with some of the members, particularly guitarist Lindsay Mitchell. In a moment of misguided anger I nearly "pulled" the song from the album, which would have been stupid and childish (we were all a bit hot-headed back then).
Lyrics:
"See Forever Eyes",album cover for the 1978 vinyl release.

You're like the wind
You're always changing
Sometimes we're friends
Sometimes we're strangers

All I ever wanted from you
Was just to hear you say you love me too
But you won't see me
You won't see me

You're like the sun
I can't get near you
Just like a song
But I can't hear you

All I'm really tryin' to say
Is that I seem to need you more each day
But you won't see me
No, you won't see me

(Solo)

You're like the wind
You're always changing
Sometimes we're friends
Sometimes we're strangers

All I'm really tryin' to say
Is that I seem to need you more each day
But you won't see me
You won't see me
