the end of 2001, a month or two before Eyra Gail's debut, DJ
Sammy and Yanou's version
of Heaven (featuring
vocals by Dutch singer Dominique van Hulst) was released in
Europe. Then, in February 2002, Eyra Gail's near identical version was released in the USA. In the end however, it was Dominique's performance that proved more durable, eventually reaching #8 on the US charts. |
